Sindh’s Asif Jr. wins third stage of Tour- de Pakistan


Sindh rider Asif Junior won the 150 kilometre third stage of Tour- de Pakistan cycle race from Moro to Sukkur on Thursday. Showing, endurance and stamina,
Asif covered the distance in 4 hours, 16 minutes and 42 seconds in a pack of 52 cyclists. Two riders were disqualified by the judges. Muhammad Sabir of WAPDA secured second spot with 4h. 16min. 52sec and Hasmatullah (Afghanistan) was third with 4h. 17min. 02sec. Harron Rashid (WAPDA). Nazar Muhammad (SSGC), Nazir Bhatti (WAPDA) got fourth, fifth and sixth positions respectively. Sukkur to Rahim Yar Khan fourth stage of the race will start on Friday morning.
